Default Vizio 22" LED LCD TV full 1080p

Hey all, While my plasma is down, I decided to use some birthday money to purchase a better tv for the bedroom The westinghouse was just getting to me after 3 years and it's greenish grey to washed out blacks.

I settled on the Vizio 22" LED LCD TV model no. M220VA On walmart's site and amazon the tv has good reviews about a 4 star out of 5.
http://www.amazon.com/VIZIO-M220VA-2...9&sr=8-1-spell

the contrast ratio is 2,000:1 and the blacks are very satisfyingly deep while the plasma is down. Actually they look very close. I still need to calibrate the tv but i'm waiting for it to be darker in the bedroom to do that. All and all i'm impressed. PS the tv has a headphone jack so i plugged a set of 2.1 sony speakers in. Nice balanced sound with stereo and a stub.

I'm curious to hear what people have to say. From what I've read people genuinely seem to like this tv for the size and for a bedroom or kitchen tv.

I would have considered them new technology compared to the traditional backlit LCDs. Either way, the tv ended up being too small for comfort with my vision. So i settled on the sony EX400 for the bedroom and the plasma has been repaired.

Thanks for the reply though.

I picked this tv up at Costco for $248. For the price it's a great tv. I have to agree with most reviewers, the stand is very difficult to install. That's my only complaint. Once I set up the picture to my taste it looked very close to my 46 Sony EX501. The picture is very crisp and clear. I have it set up in the kitchen with verizon fios and a ps3.
