Thumbs up Warhammer 40K space marine for the PS3

Warhammer 40k: Space Marine Announced, Trailer Released
[Ure "Vader" Paul]
07:23 am EDT @ May 28th, 2009
Filed under: WARHAMMER 40K SPACE MARINES, RELIC ENTERTAINMENT
Corresponding to this morning's report, Relic Entertainment officially announces its Xbox 360 and PS3 game, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. This is going to be an action-RPG designed to put players in control of individual units throughout a narrative-driven campaign and in wide-scale online battles.

Word is, "Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine takes place in the brutal, science fiction setting of Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 universe. In the 41st Millennium, humanity faces extinction at the hands of horrific aliens and demonic hordes. Only one force offers salvation, the superhuman Space Marines. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine is an intense Action-RPG featuring epic battles where players take direct control of the ultimate defender of humanity, the mighty Space Marine."

“Space Marine is an Action-RPG built from the ground up for the Xbox 360 and PS3 systems, and will allow gamers to take control of individual units and fight in epic battles across the Warhammer 40,000 universe,” said Jonathan Dowdeswell, general manager, Relic Entertainment. “Relic has a deep understanding of the license based on our previous projects with Games Workshop, and our goal is to ensure Space Marine delivers the most intimate and brutal Warhammer 40,000 experience to date.”

same here..i love the background and character's. Inquisitor is one of my fav. game's..its "PEN and Paper" RPG-TACTIC's like game, and as a bonus the rule's are 100% free. the only cost is the 54mm fig's, they look awsome but they are expensive. any way this game seem's to be by the read of that article along the line's of Inquisitor. most likely a
xenos Space Marine kill team IE: your part of the Death watch. which would be very cool

i used to play 40k, i had a "Orc army..lol" but that was quite a while back..Da..pulsa rockit's,drop-a-lifta's.. ..too funny...Now i mainly play Inquisitor ..mainly because i am more of a Rpg gamer than Wargamer. and its 54mm fig's apeal to me a little more i guess than the 25's.

Default Warhammer 40k glitch...

I did search for the Warhammer 40k thread and this is what came up. Probably do to the data loss. I was just online and for some reason while im going around the map i randomly get stuck. I can only fire and not switch weapons and turn around. Is this happening to others?

Yes (I thought it was some penalty for being a low-level grunt; it's actually a bug in the program ). I thought the online game (when it's working properly) was more fun than the offline campaign, but that's not saying much because I wasn't a Warhammer player/fan prior to this (I think I took it to level 3 or 4 online before I deleted the game from my HDD).

Well I own this and I love it, im a big war-hammer fan.

I love coop, I love the single player, and I love the competitive, and if you beat the first mission of kill team you also get the power sword which is really nice for multiplayer.

I just wished the dreadnaught dlc was free...
