Default Jurassic Park 4K collection

So...been checking JB’s every day for this to be listed and it finally is.

BUT, it’s missing Jurassic World! Da f*#k?! It’s only the first 3.

So disappointed. Import it is...

US version is currently $50 pre-order on Amazon too. Bit of a no-brainer really.

Yeah I know, was just looking at that. It’s a good deal. Not a fan of the cardboard packaging that scratches the disks but oh well.

Eww yeah, those things are nasty. I guess just try to find a 4-disc case (or a couple of 2-disc ones) and keep them in that. Hell even a CD wallet would work.

I also pre ordered the boxset from amazon as well and it's only costing me $3 more than the JB version

As well as only having on 3 movies it doesn't look like we get the booklet either

Looks like Australia is getting same boxset as U.K. as that also only contains the first 3 films so you have to buy Jurassic World separately.

However France, Italy and Scandinavia all claim their boxsets contain all 4 films. If you don’t mind non-English language packaging they are an alternative.

why are you disappointed? The US boxset is only current for a few months, then will be ruined by the release of JW fallen kingdom.

I'd rather have the complete Jurassic Park trilogy in a box-set, with separate releases of the Jurassic World movies, than an incomplete Jurassic saga box-set.

All good points. In a way I do like that fact that it is the first trilogy and separate to the new ones. I know I can get it from Amazon for a few bucks more than the 3 pack. Just hate the cardboard package!

BUT!

Update. They are now on JB’s website as individual releases AND as steel books.

So I’m happy now (I think) Il get the steelbooks.

I expect them to drop to around $40 a pop before release. Hell, when the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 4K listing first went up, it was listed at $59.98.

Those are comparable in price to U.K. where the identical steelbooks are exclusive to Zoom (they only ship in Europe).

So £22.50 each but they are doing a deal of all 4 for £70 plus a £10 voucher off a future UHD purchase.

Even without the voucher, Zoom's price is still $60AUD cheaper for all four.

I think I'll pre-order them in-store, but will cancel if they don't drop to $35-$40.

I so want to get the JB Steelbooks, but at that price I'm very hesitant. Hopefully when they're released next week they'll be $35-40.

They're $32 each from JB NZ, and available already. Weird.

Was going to import the U.S. edition, but decided against it once I saw that the Australian version had only the original trilogy in it. This I would prefer rather than the four films in the set as it would go better with my bluray trilogy edition.
