Hey there...not sure if this is the right spot to be posting, but i have a quick question about running a VCR on a new(ish) HDTV. I have a few out of print VHS's that I want to watch on my modern plasma...so i grabbed a VCR from a thrift store and hooked it up through composite cables. But no matter what VHS i stick in, i get the same "desperately in need of tracking" type image, as if the VCR is set to the wrong channel (like back in the day with the channel 3 or 4 option). But since I'm hooked up through composite video (on VIDEO 1 on my tv), I'm assuming the "channel" should be a non-issue. So anyways, my question is...did I buy a f*cked up VCR, or is there a possible compatibilty issue?
ANY SUGGESTIONS ARE MUCH APPRECIATED. THANKS A BUNCH! tommy |
