What's the Pulp Fiction transfer like? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey

What's the transfer of the Australian Pulp Fiction like? Is it good?
Could somebody also possibly take some photos of it, like the spine and all that jazz....I like to know what my discs will look like shelved

Transfer is good but its not 1080p. The disc is cheap enough and if you like pulp fiction I think you should pick it up

happy with the dvd. as far as bluray goes no 1080/24 P playback... no deal

the non aus one has 1080P then?

I don't know if the Aussie Blu is 1080p or 1080i. All I do know is that it is a massive improvement to the DVD version, absolutely night and day, and it looks great on my 42" Panasonic Plasma Full HD TV.

Aussie is 1080i but it still looks amazing!

The region free Polish 1080p is amazing. I've read the Asian and Danish versions are too.

I have now watched Pulp Fiction in its entirety, and it definately is a great version of this classic movie. Absolutely excellent PQ even if it is "only" a 1080i transfer

There is already a shot of Sam Jackson in this thread. All contributors seem to agree that its a top transfer whether 1080p or 1080i, so what are you waiting for? buy it!
