I did as well, very exciting and an awesome pickup for yellow veil. Hoping for Frontiers and Inside, been waiting a long time for those.

Ok, was gonna post this on the VS thread but noticed this was posted so....

Did a quick comparison of colors to the dvd and I am impressed with the overall color. However, the infamous bar scene have been changed dramatically from a memorable green to a more standard look. Im am bummed by this. I wonder how Studio Canals scan looks like compared to Yellow Veils. I know most will disagree on the dvd color but thats how I always watched it.

Top is the dvd and the bottom is the Yellow Veil remastered trailer.

I've not actually seen Inside, but Frontiers is another favorite. That one just keeps getting more insane by the minute.

Inside could have easily been called Insane. I was pretty blown away by it, but I haven't seen it since it was first on DVD so I'm interested to see how I will feel about it now.

as for inside, just dont make the mistake of watching the butchered R version

Just want to point out that Second Sight will release Frontiers this year.

Excited for this new release and a bit anxious revisiting this crazy film. Just watching the new trailer, I think this restoration overall looks impressive and a step up from the current dvd I own. I'm not really bothered by the new color grading changes, I appreciate that they're upfront about the honest change though. Either way, this film is awesome and can't wait to rewatch it!

That's cool. It's the only NFE movie I've actually liked so far. I definitely want to check out Calvaire, though. I've been wanting to see it for years.

They own it outright, or just have the US license? They have been losing a ton of licenses over the last two years, so I wouldn't be surprised if they won't have the license in year or two if they still even have it.

Second Sight is one of the absolute best in the game right now. Transfers, packaging...total shebang is top level.

Saw this on release, it was championed by BBC critic Mark Kermode at the time. After a decade I saw the main actor in the artsploitation "Raw", a movie again positively reviewed by Kermode. It jogged my memory then so I bought the R2 Tartan DVD.

For those who film tastes run to the smutty this contains a small but pivotal role for 70s Adult turned mainstream, albeit frequently in explicit roles, Erotic Queen Brigitte Lahaie.

And coincidentally (?) the DVD extras on my copy contain a short film by Fabrice Du Welz featuring an appearance from 1990s hardcore starlet Laure Sainclair.
