Default Lionsgate's Blu-Line Feature - Why not used more?

I finally unwrapped my copy of Doctor Strange this weekend (and enjoyed it quite a lot!) and was interested in their Blu-Line bookmarking feature. Why isn't something like this available on all their titles and across more studios? Simple bookmarking is quite useful (particularly for a reviewer like myself) but it's a nice little bit of interactivity to show off.

I'm not talking about resuming though, but setting multiple bookmarks in a title to access easily. While I fully admit I don't know how "consumer useful" it is, it's certainly an attractive selling point.

From a reviewers position however, it's incredibly ideal as it lets me tag things while watching that I need to examine more closely lately. I've used it a lot even on a 24 minute episode of Freedom with HD DVD.

The majority of regular BDs don't need it because they can resume. But as we start seeing more BD-J titles I'm sure they will have bookmarking too.

Really? I can't get my ps3 to resume a BD movie. Am I missing something?

thanks

If I remember correctly, the resume feature will only work if you stop a movie by returning to the XMB. If you shut it off completely (hard or soft), it won't resume.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, though.

Guys,

If you have ever dont any programming then you know that it takes time to develop class librarys. As these companies release more and more Blu-Ray movies, their class libraries will grow and the easier it will be to impliment features. As this occures new features will appear
