Default 2010 Financial Trouble

I am not sure about you, but I fear I will spend a lot more then I like to for the rest of 2010. There are some great releases that have been announced.

Here are the movies I want to get that have yet to be released:

September
Fringe Season 2
Iron Man 2
Robin Hood

October
The Last of the Mohicans
Dollhouse Season 2
Christmas Classics Gift Set
How to Train your Dragon
Back to the Future Trilogy
Alien Anthology

November
Tremors
Toy Story 3 (and I still need to get Toy Story 2)

December
Inception (Hopefully)

How about you guys? What are some movies that you coming out this year that you hope to be able to add to your collection

I haven't looked beyond September and October. The only saving grace about November / December will be all the holiday deals (hopefully) like we saw last year.

Off the top of my head, I know I'll be getting Se7en and Prince of Persia in September, and Alien Anthology in October. There will certainly be others.

Yeah, I've said this a hundred times; I don't know how I'll be able to afford just September and October, with a couple November titles.

Blus: ~ $405
Se7en
Fringe: Season 2
Prince of Persia
Robin Hood
American Beauty
The Exorcist
Iron Man 2
Three Kings
Apocalypse Now
Back to the Future Trilogy
Last of the Mohicans
The Pacific
Psycho

Games: ~ $260
Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood: CE
Halo Reach (Legendary Edition)

Altogether, that's $665 for just 3 months! I'm a freakin' cashier; how am I supposed to afford all this awesomeness? At least I already got my order in for the Alien Anthology.

is everybody really so tight on money? i mean following threads like this one, it sounds like everybody will go broke over a bunch of blurays, but only few titles are listed!?
how old are you guys? do you have steady jobs? or are there a lot of students, school children, unemployed, etc.?
i mean a thread titles "financial trouble" and then maybe 100 dollars worth
of blurays? non offensive, just curious!

In my case, if my plans were to simply buy blus, then money wouldn't be an issue. However, I'm also planning on adding a couple thousand dollars worth of hardware before the end of the year. Kinda makes things a little bit tighter.

Well, considering I listed over $650 worth of Blus and I am a high school student, the title seems fitting.

I admire your passion for movies and blus in general, but if you are still in high school with limited income (if any) and planning to spend $650 on BDs? Son, I suggest you'd better learn how to manage your spending first.

It looks like September and October are going to make up for the much slower July and August. I do work full time, but I'm still going to have to be very careful not to overspend on media.

I already imported The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Psycho, so those are two releases I won't have to worry about in October. Even so...

This fall has quite a few long-awaited catalog releases: The Back to the Future trilogy, the Alien Anthology, Beauty and the Beast, Seven Samurai, The Exorcist, Apocalypse Now, The Last of the Mohicans, Grindhouse, Se7en, Charade, King Kong, The Maltese Falcon. And then there are new releases, TV, imports and animation. It will be a busy few months on Blu-ray.com.

My personal must-have list:

Mulholland Drive (UK)
Rock & Rule
Beauty and the Beast
Charade
Back to the Future

Just looked through the announced releases through the end of the year. These are all the titles that interest me. I won't get all of them right away, but these are the ones that I'll get eventually. What I do get will be purchased during the holiday sales of November and December, I'm more or less on a buying hiatus for now. Anyway, here goes:

August -

1. Black Orpheus

Septmeber -

2. THX 1138
3. Breathless
4. Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time
5. Se7en
6. American Beauty
7. Charade
8. Delicatessen (Will stream first)
9. Robin Hood: Director's Cut (Only if the director's cut is found to be significantly better than the theatrical)
10. Iron Man 2
11. King Kong (1933)
12. The Thin Red Line
13. Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence

October -

14. Beauty and the Beast
15. Grindhouse
16. The Last of the Mohicans
17. The Exorcist
18. The Maltese Falcon
19. Ocean's 11 (1960)
20. The Treasure of the Sierra Madre
21. The Darjeeling Limited
22. The Magician
23. The Rocky Horror Picture Show
24. Apocalypse Now
25. Seven Samurai
26. Alien Anthology
27. Back to the Future Trilogy
28. House
29. Paths of Glory

November -

30. The Bridge on the River Kwai
31. The Pacific
32. Toy Story 3
33. Finding Nemo
34. Mutiny on the Bounty

Nothing is concrete enough for December releases, but I think I have plenty as is. This is my wallet right now...
