Good PS3 "purchases"?

I think I've waited long enough to get a PS3, I may get one later this year (I hope, if I do I hope it's a 500 GB) and was wondering if this was a good list of games to get (I won't get all at once):

• Elder Scrolls (GOTY?)

PS1:

• Castlevania: Symphony Of the Night
• Castlevania Chronicles
• Final Fantasy VII
• Final Fantasy VIII
• Final Fantasy IX (9?)
• Spyro The Dragon
• Spyro (2): Ripto's Rage
• Spyro Year of the dragon
• Rayman
• Rayman 2
• Metal Gear Solid

Those PS1 games I HAVE bought & downloaded onto my PSP . . . if you all see I may like a PS3 game (that's retail), PS1 (download or disc) or a mini, I'll take it into consideration. Oh and I'd like the collections (such as the Elder Scrolls GOTY instead of the 3 separate discs)

As to why I say 500 GB, I want the lest amount of trouble with firmware as possible, ALONG with about as much space as I can have as I intend to install the game data of EVERY PS3 game I get (to speed loading). And I also intend to put upwards of probably 80 GB of music on it.
