Default Warner changing strategy?

i noticed this on some thread by beatboy77:

"Just spoke with my contact at WB and she confirms that "Return to House on Haunted Hill" will show WB's new preference for Blu-ray. Look for this release to favor the Blu-ray version vs. the HD-DVD version.

All of this on the heels of Nickerson's departure from WB. I wonder what's cooking"

wonder if that can be the one that Penton-Man was mentioning about in the Insiders forums:

"^
I'm back and probably 2 pounds heavier.

Expect there to be a title (non-Sony) which will be streeting in a couple of weeks or so, that will not solely represent an example of the superior technical merits of Blu-ray, in regards to seamless branching, but the open-mindedness for Blu-ray to start strutting its technologically superior stuff to consumers.

Granted it may appear to be a tiny bone for you guys to chew on, but something……anything in the nick of time that is positive given the recent bad Paramount deci$ion, I suspect will be welcome and appreciated by the Blu-ray faithful.

Later.
P.S.
I can't elaborate any more."

Maybe thats why Steve left Warner ? who knows
