Question Papillon in Region A

I noticed somewhere that Papillon is being released in Australia tomorrow. Does anyone know if it has been discussed for released here in the US?

HDNet ran it a few months back. That showing looked relatively nice and clean. I really wonder about it ever showing up as a Blu-ray in America. Hopefully it gets a solid release somewhere that is region-free.

I can't find any mention on the web of a Blu-ray release anywhere, let alone Australia. Was it supposed to come out and pulled?

Umbrella did the same thing with Picnic at Hanging Rock, it was pulled from their site for a delay, but reappeared and shipped 6 weeks later.

Some strange things happening down under with Madman/Umbrella releasing a new version of The Fifth Element with the same transfer as the remastered US release BUT with a pile of 720p extras from Sony!?
