Default Where can you find the best cut of a blu-ray movie?

I gotta question for all you fellow blu-ray buyers. Which is the best cut of a movie and from country is it from? Is there a difference between a U.S. and U.K., or German and French, etc.? This isnt so much about PQ and AQ as it is material in a movie. I'm just curious cause most of the movies are pretty similair but i know the Lethal Weapon movies (primarily 2 & 4, and this is on DVD) are cut differently in the U.K. than in the U.S. So does anybody else know other movies that are different?

Dances with Wolves has different cuts. I purchased the German version because it is the longest version available.

This isn't something that follows any particular rule. Every movie will most likely be different. One movie may have the better cut in the US release, one may be the UK release and some may be the release from a completely different country.

It also depends on your definition of "Best". Since we're generally speaking of movies produced in the US, many may feel the "best" version is the one released in the theaters in thew U.S. Then again, the U.S. is sometimes more sensative to things like nudity and graphic violence in movies than some other countries, so the releases in foreign markets sometimes more explicite and some would consider that to be better.

My advice would be to research the different releases of whatever movie it is your interested in before buying to see what fits YOUR definition of best.
