hd dvd is really more undead. just waiting for someone to come along and cut its head (m$toshi) off. then it will squirt blood everywhere while convulsing (EU probe) then die with a gargled moan (late night infomercials selling off what's left).

I can't read the print on that pic because of my pda but I can believe blu crushed them.

And one (The Prestige) is BD here.

Goodfellas on BD beats Superman Returns on HD DVD. Enough said?

Gary

EDIT: Someone show the tombstone is already done.

I think he was referring to the tombstone someone should make for hd dud, not the actual movie. Although I would love to get that one as well. Since it's ditributed by Hollywood Pictures, I'm not sure if it's a Universal subsidary. I'd like to get Signs as well, the only M. Night Shyamlan movie I liked. Lady In The Water sucked.

The DVD for Tombstone was from Buena Vista.

So, what do you think about the following news?

Amazon has joined forces with Microsoft to create an on-demand HD DVD service.

Independent titles on HD from Amazon

yea this is what i think of CUSTOMFLIX:

Overview

CustomFlix now supports Amazon Unbox - a new digital video download service which allows customers to purchase and download high quality digital videos from Amazon.com.

Unbox is the only video download service to offer DVD-quality videos and the Unbox RemoteLoad™ feature, which allows customers to buy from one PC and download to another. Unbox customers can also stream their Unbox videos to their Microsoft Xbox 360 console to watch on their TV, or view these videos on compatible portable players.

http://www.customflix.com/Products/VideoDownload.jsp

just another means to and END to get rid of physical media and make digital downloads the defacto replacement for DVD thus getting rid of physical disc media for good.

From the look of that graphic, no "Ray" on blu-ray. How Ironic.

Bart: Whoa, dad. You killed the zombie Flanders.
Homer <slight pause>: He was a zombie?
-Simpsons Halloween Special.

Yes, I know I quote the Simpsons a lot. They are like the bible of the ironies of life. WOO HOO!
