Creature From The Black Lagoon in 3D

Many years ago, I had a twenty minute (Highlights only) super 8 sound copy of the original 1954 movie "Creature From The Black Lagoon" It was in 3D and came with 4 pair of the red/blue cardboard glasses. As I remember, the 3D was pretty good. Can Universal release this movie in the "Old Fashioned" 3D on Bluray so that even people without a 3D television can see it in 3D! The underwater scenes looked awsome!
