Wow, what a great Best Picture race. It was an extraordinary year for films and for performances. As much as I loved No Country For Old Men, There Will Be Blood is a MASTERPIECE. It's one of my favorite films of all time and I think deserved to win. For some reason everyone went gaga over No Country For Old Men which one almost every award prior so There Will Be Blood didn't stand a chance. When looking back I'd say most people would say There Will Be Blood should have won. Hey, most people consider the film one of the best films or the best film of the decade. Not many films get that kind of honor. No Country For Old Men is a fantastic film, but I don't think it hits the level of the perfection that There Will Be Blood hit.

What do you all think?

They were both good movies but No Country was by far better!

My personal #2 of 2007, and most definitely one of the most amazing cinematic achievements of the past decade - THERE WILL BE BLOOD.

I didn't enjoy No Country, so There Will Be Blood.

There will be blood for me.
The perfomance of Daniel Del Lewis in the ending 30 minutes may very well be one of the best artisitic moments in the history of the cinema.

I really liked There Will Be Blood but No Country For Old Men was my favorite film of the decade. Everything about it really works for me and it absolutely captivates me every time I watch it.

lol.... while i did vote for No Country For Old Men... i dont like either movie... NCFOM is better than the TWBB though

I can agree with that since there isnt an option for other. Neither is close to being best picture material though. Got Em!!

That is a really difficult question. I loved No Country & found it to be the better film overall, even though Daniel Day-Lewis as Daniel Plainview is probably the single greatest performance in the history of film.

There will be blood had some great Cinematography and DDL was awesome as usual but the overall movie simply bored me
