High Tension: anyone experience Clicks and Crackles with 7.1 French? Please Help

I'm wondering if it's just my Blu-ray copy or if this is how the movie makers edited the sound effects/music?

I counted seven clicks that start

[Show spoiler]when the killer is driving up to the house and the victims are in bed sleeping

21 min: 34/41/49/56 sec
22 min: 04/11/18 sec

I've tried this on variety of A/Q equipement with the same Samsung Blu-ray player and the outcome is always the same. The 5.1 English dub seems fine... I think I may have heard one click. The movies plays fine.. but I also can't access special features without freezing my player.

Today's the 30th day of ownership and I need to know if I should return this to Best Buy? Thanks guys

I haven't watch my copy yet but I would suggest just to exchange it for another one since it is the 30th day.

I watched mine and didn't hear them but then ... I wasn't really listening for stuff like that.

I can watch it again soon and check if you like.

I think the 30 days is almost irrelevant since it's defective however,... It would possibly be easier to exchange before the 30 days is up. Otherwise they may say you have to send it back to the vendor which would be a real pain.

That would be awesome if you or anyone else could. I would hate seeing a Blu-ray go to waste if this is normal.

The audio is the best part of this blu release. I did not have any issues with the sound at all. Proly have a defective disc.

It's about 6:45PM where I live.

I can likely play back the scene in question after 8 so that's maybe an hour and a half. (I can't watch that movie till the kidz are in bed.)

I don't know what the OP's current time is or what the hours are of the store where he was considering a return.... Oh wait... I guess it had to be Best Buy didn't it.

My guess it BB wouldn't care about the 30 days if it's a case of a defective disc and you could even verify the problem with them. (Though it may be hard given the nature of the movie.)

I heard some of them..

I may have heard about half of those. I know I got the one at 21:34 and 22:04... They were pretty hard to pick up though. Just little blips, almost sounds like just an natural artifact of the recording or mastering process.
