Default Sonic Adventure rated by ESRB

Official Release Date : September 21st 2010 (US)

Is a straight up port of Sonic Adventure DX minus the added missions in that port - more on that in a second. Runs at 60fps and features no widescreen support. DX missions will be available as DLC.

Best 3D Sonic for its time (can't say I've played all the 3D Sonic's though.. I don't hate myself enough ) but I don't think it's stood the test of time too well.

I never played any of the 3D Sonics until recently, when I discovered a demo for Sonic Adventure 2 in with a used copy of Phantasy Star Online. And I thought it was terrible; is the first Sonic Adventure (or the full version of SA 2) any better / different?

I found SA2 quite frustrating even though I'd completed the first.

Oh yes. The second one was a mess. The new ones are a mess. The first Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast was just a wonderfully fun game.

yeah I bought it for 9.99...but if you want to upgrade to the DX version it's another 4.99...

also I believe this is the PC port and not the original Dreamcast version.

the last great Sonic game..I can't believe it's been over 10 years..the game is still fun to play.

Yeah when you beat the game, it says outright Sonic Adventure DX Staff.....so original DC version my butt

Fell through the floor 3 times in Emerald Coast but other than that, no problems. It actually looks quite nice in an HD resolution, even with the forced non-widescreen. Dated, but still fun.

this isnt one of the sonics that basically plays it self by auto running through every level and u occasionally have to push a button to jump or duck is it?

theres like 4 of those... i boot the game and literally do nothing but watch him run the level by his damn self
