Failan (2001) - Blu-ray Forum

The talk of Failan in the Il Mare topic made me check to see if there was a release, and there appears to be one! I didn't see a topic dedicated to this movie, so has anybody picked up this release or know if it's good quality? It appears to be English friendly.

At least some good came out of my error haha.

I'll definitely pick this up soon, I had no idea it was English friendly.

It's nice when there's a Korean release from the 2000-2005 time period, because it reminds me (or others) of different films I remember liking and want to blu!

It would certainly be a rarity!
I've held off buying this as I'm hoping this title will become a CJ Entertainment release.

specifications on their site says there's korean and japanese audio, as well as japanese subs. no mention of english subtitles.

i don't know where cdjapan got their specs (usually from distributors?), but these things change and they're often wrong on that site - i used to email in corrections, occasionally, if i spotted a release actually did have english subs.

I picked this one up back in 2000 or 2001. It was the Korean collector's DVD which came with an actual 35mm film cel. There were English subtitles on the DVD but weren't the best. Sadly, I have long lost that DVD. Probably sitting in a closet at the parent's place with other DVDs.
