Doe anyone have any info on this release? Is it 1080p, or 1080i? How does it compare to the super expensive Japanese Blu-ray?

The AU and JP discs look almost identical from those screenshots. How sure are we that the JP disc is a true 1080p? It's obvious that the master used is the same. Is it possible that the master is 1080i and Umbrella didn't bother converting to 1080p, but the JP disc is simply converted? In that case it really makes no sense buying the overpriced JP disc.

I've been waiting for years to buy Hellraiser III on Blu-ray. Are we ever going to get a proper release?

well considering it is under Paramount, perhaps the deal they made with Warner Bros it will finally get released in the States at some point.
