Default Where to Buy Retro Game "Security Screws"?

Hey, all.

I'm looking for some place to buy a box of the old 3.8mm "gamebit" screws, used by Nintendo for their cartridge games up to the N64 days. I thought about hardware stores like Home Depot, but haven't had any other ideas. Suggestions?

I already knew about that one; a dollar each is ridiculous. I was hoping some company still made them (or something very similar), and sold them in bulk.

Moviefan2k4,

If I were you I would still contact that company and just ask them. Their site lists they only have 21 in stock, but I bet they have a ton more. If you tell them you're interested in buying a bunch, they might help you out. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Actually 1 dollar each for a custom screw is not ridiculous, you have to remember most likely these are not manufactured in bulk and are custom made for that particular unit.

Well, I've seen Phillips screws at that size, which would be a good substitute; otherwise, I may just buy a bunch of $1 sports games that no one plays anymore.

eBay, my friend. eBay! I've seen this kind of stuff on there many times before.
