I know this has probably been gone over many times, but I'm doing my research for an upcoming purchase and I'm looking to get a 55"+ tv. I'm considering a plasma just because I enjoy watching movies/tv in the dark, so I want the deepest blacks, no clouding, etc. What I'm more concerned about is IR with the amount of sports that I watch. I watch a lot of various sports, all of which have certain "banners" of some sort displayed during the entire game. Should this be a concern? Also, I do some moderate gaming that also displays certain graphics on the screen in a certain spot for a long period of time, should this be a concern? Other concerns are the "buzzing" sound and heat, but are a lower priority.
Which tv's should I look at? My list so far includes: -Samsung PN58C8000 -Panasonic Tcp58vt25 (worried about rising blacks) |
