Default Movie Budget Calculator

I found a nifty little gizmo online, called the Inflation Calculator, and thought it'd be fun to try converting some old film budgets into modern dollars (sadly, the tool only goes up to 2010, but that's still pretty close). So, here's my list, to start with; feel free to chime in, if you like.

"Snow White" - $1,488,423 in 1937 = $22,356,239 today
"Pinocchio" - $2,289,247 in 1940 = $35,196,358 today
"Fantasia" - $2,280,000 in 1940 = $35,054,189 today
"Dumbo" - $813,000 in 1941 = $11,904,367 today
"Bambi" - $858,000 in 1942 = $11,348,944 today
"Cinderella" - $2,900,000 in 1950 = $25,973,058 today
"Alice in Wonderland" - $3,000,000 in 1951 = $24,901,465 today
"Peter Pan" - $4,000,000 in 1953 = $32,229,399 today
"Lady and the Tramp" - $4,000,000 in 1955 = $32,197,845 today
"Sleeping Beauty" - $6,000,000 in 1959 = $44,367,126 today
"101 Dalmatians" - $4,000,000 in 1961 = $28,824,047 today
"The Aristocats" - $4,000,000 in 1970 = $22,205,361 today
"Robin Hood" - $1,500,000 in 1973 = $7,277,462 today
"The Rescuers" - $1,200,000 in 1977 = $4,266,650 today
"The Fox and the Hound" - $12,000,000 in 1981 = $28,407,200 today
"The Great Mouse Detective" - $14,000,000 in 1986 = $27,463,302 today
"The Little Mermaid" - $40,000,000 in 1989 = $69,424,530 today
"The Rescuers Down Under" - $37,931,000 in 1990 = $62,460,670 today
"Beauty and the Beast" - $25,000,000 in 1991 = $39,507,963 today
"Aladdin" - $28,000,000 in 1992 = $42,960,115 today
"The Lion King" - $45,000,000 in 1994 = $65,333,411 today
"Pocahontas" - $55,000,000 in 1995 = $77,904,338 today
"The Hunchback of Notre Dame" - $70,000,000 in 1996 = $96,263,084 today
"Hercules" - $85,000,000 in 1997 = $114,936,959 today
"Mulan" - $70,000,000 in 1998 = $93,163,353 today
"Tarzan" - $150,000,000 in 1999 = $194,387,299 today

...and just for kicks, $1 trillion in 1800 would be equal to $12,653,004,609,849 today!
