Trying to decide on a new HDTV - Blu-ray Forum

HDTV recently died, am looking for an upgrade. Thought I had decided on the Panasonic TC-P42G25 because of the infinite black (the biggest shortcoming of my Westinghouse was brightness of the blacks) but then found this post https://forum.blu-ray.com/3441054-post902.html that says it cannot handle 1080p24 without flickering. So which do you think is more important? Should I still get the 42-inch G25 model?

I have heard great things about the Panasonic Plasma screens, so had my heart set on one of those, but any other suggestions would be appreciated.

The Panny G25 is a great plasma. Just set it to 60Hz instead of 48Hz and you'll be fine.
