September 1st will see Universal release 3 Adam Sandler films; Happy Gilmore, Billy Madison & Bulletproof. Also released on that date will be Honey & You, Me & Dupree.

i am wondering if happy gilmore will be some UK censored version, coz the dvd was censored back in the day,
wondering and expecting bare bones blurays

more work should go into blurays than just shuffling them off on to this format like they may have done and prob did for DVDs.
They do cost alot to buy atleast in Australia, and i want the best pic and audio and a selection of bonus material for my damn money

Yes, this is a concern. I had a UK VHS set of these three films. Billy Madison was a PG cert and was cut for language at least--the use of the F-word that is included in the original US PG-13 version. If the PG OFLC (now ACB?) certificate has similar cuts for language, then Billy Madison would be cut, unless the mock-up is incorrect and Billy Madison is M.

Has "f***" ever been allowed in a PG cert Australian film?

Every release I've watched has had the 'f-word' (It's so horrendously dumb that we can't swear on these boards. Everyone and their grandmother hears it on a daily basis, same with every other website. I think the fact any words are censored at all is incredibly stupid - they're just words. Offended by them? Get forked. I have no time for people who are easily offended. All children swear by the way so doing it for their sake is also dumb.)

You don't have a single Australian released title in your collection.... why would you start buying locally now, just continue to import, in most cases, it is cheaper.

blu-bren, KaiGusto is correct, your collection is almost all USA listings, which do not have the USA flag on them. Australian releases have the AU flag icon

next to the title, and they should come up in your searches provided you have all the countries checked off in your "Site preferences" link up at the top of the page near the login.

Got the AUS version of Happy Gilmore. It is Region Free. VC1 with an English DTS-HD MA 5.1. Has a lot of different subtitle options, so it is likely the same disc that will be used in Japan, UK, Netherlands, Germany, etc.

PQ seems pretty good from a glance, but I will have to watch the whole thing to form a better opinion.

Just watch Happy Gilmore. PQ was about a 3/5. Nothing special. Some of the gold course shots were nice, but there was definitely some DNR going on and quite a few soft shots. Thought it was pretty inconstant PQ-wise. SQ was about a 4/5. Solid with no major problems.

No extras.
