Default A Night of Too Many Stars

Anyone else watch the telethon?

There were some great bits taped at the Beacon Theatre. The auction to have Chris Rock curse out your ex was probably the best. Her story, the build up, and then Rock just letting loose. I had tears in my eyes it was so funny.

The other highlight was near the end with Chris Rock (again) and Tracy Morgan try to sing a Simon and Garfunkel song. Then Simon's critique and follow up. Classic stuff.

They raised over $3m with just the East Coast and Central timezones. Not bad, for a good cause.

It was good to see Simon Garfunkel

I DVRed it... but they appear to have ran long... so even though I had 2.5 hours on DVR I missed the last of it... but I enjoyed some of the live stuff as well as those pre-taped snippets from the benefit show last week.

And Simon Garfunkel being autotuned.

You didn't miss much after it cut off. There really was only one bit with Robin Williams auctioning himself off. If you have seen Robin Williams, you've seen the bit.

Letterman in a surprise visit was great as well. Loved the deadpan aspect of it.
