Default CEDIA booth layout

Check out the expo floor layout:

http://www.cedia.net/expo/new_expo/ExhibitLevel.pdf

Main entrance is on the right - our friends at Sony have the best location in the place! (and one of the largest booths)

Took me a while to find Toshiba...

Reminds me of 2005. People were trying to determine the likely ownage based on floor space.

I seem to recall Toshiba's was much smaller than the BDA companies, but larger than this year.

Neither Venturer nor Funai are exhibitors. Search

I'm surprised to see how big of a space Klipsch has this year. I wonder if they are going to debut a lot of new stuff at this years show.

With the location and size of the Sony booth, Blu-ray should have an in-your-face presence at CEDIA to all-comers.

Their products are being shown by BDA and Toshiba respectively. They also know that this is the high-end show, and peopel there don't want that crap

This picture is not yet complete. I have mapped the BDA members and contributers Blue and the HD-DVD supporting companies I found (=Toshiba and Microsoft) Red.

Some companies might be purple (HP) and more companies might support HD-DVD and Blu-ray but I can not think of any other than Onkyo but I can not find them...

Nice job.

According to this post, Xperinet (two booths to the left of M$) is exclusively Blu Ray.

For being a company that I never heard of, Crestron sure has a huge booth there.

While this doesn't mean anything for the impact of the announcments that are made at cedia, it does bode well for the amount of presentation market that people there see of Bluray...

If most of these companies that are BDA mmembers have atleast a little something showing about their BD players. We can expect that people are going to get a healthy does of BD at the show.
