Rogue, a new series starring Thandie Newton premieres April 3rd on Direct TV in the USA and on Movie Central/Movie Network in Canada. Sounds interesting and I will be checking it out for sure.

I just want to mention, that this is really a damn good series so far.

Finally got around to seeing the pilot. It looks great in HD but thats the only thing going for it. The story Seems thin and the acting is thinner. Its not because Thandie is not a good actress, everyones acting seems run of the mill to me. Not one of the characters grab me. My friends say it gets better. Ill give it another episode or so.

Just got around to seeing the Premiere of ROGUE S2 today & enjoyed the episode, however I was of the impression/hoping that we'd see again(rats!) the gangster JIMMY LASZLO (Marton Csokas)who was the real reason I enjoyed the 1st season.

Yea he was great in S1, but from what they've shown ("this season on ROGUE"), it doesn't look like he'll be back.

This is a weird show.

Most of the cast is British/Canadian playing Americans. It's shot in Vancouver, which is acting as a substitute for Oakland, CA.

‘Rogue’ Gets 20-Episode Pickup By DirecTV

DirecTV’s first homegrown original series, Rogue, will keep going with a 20-episode renewal for what the satcaster calls a supersized third season. Thandie Newton is set to reprise her role as Grace Travis and Cole Hauser will be back as Ethan Kelly in the suspense drama from Entertainment One. Production is slated to begin in January, with the first 10 episodes set to premiere on DirecTV’s Audience Network in the spring and the remaining 10 episodes scheduled to air in 2016. (Networks sometimes prefer to refer to an order as one double-sized season vs two separate ones for contractual reasons.)

DirecTVSeason 2 revolved around Grace moving forward with her life after finally avenging her son’s death in Season 1. However, when the young female undercover operative she was responsible for went missing, Grace is forced to go back undercover inside Ethan’s (Hauser) security firm.

Storylines for the 20 new episodes are yet to be developed, but I hear that the show is looking to introduce new leading characters. “Rogue has clearly resonated with our viewers,” said Chris Long, DirecTV’s SVP Original Content and Production

Added eOne TV CEO John Morayniss, “It’s an incredible achievement to have an additional 20 episodes greenlit.” Created by Matthew Parkhill, Rogue is executive produced by Morayniss and Michael Rosenberg for eOne, Parkhill and Nick Hamm for Momentum TV.

Ashley Greene (The Twilight Saga franchise) has landed a series regular role opposite Thandie Newton and Cole Hauser on the upcoming season of DirecTV’s suspense drama series Rogue. Production on the second half of a 20-episode order is underway in Toronto.



Greene will play Mia Levesque, a beautiful and highly intelligent former NSA contractor who desperately needs Ethan’s (Hauser) help after an attempt is made on her life. She will pull Ethan into the high stakes world of corporate espionage. As Ethan grows closer to her, the body count around her begins to rise, and Ethan will question if he can trust this master manipulator.

Greene is best known for her role as vampire Alice Cullen in the blockbuster Twilight Saga franchise. She will next be seen in Burying The Ex, which hits theaters on June 19. Upcoming films include In Dubious Battle, Urge, Shangri-La Suite and Staten Island Summer.

Rogue is produced by Entertainment One (eOne) in association with DirecTV. The series is created by Matthew Parkhill (The Caller) who also serves as executive producer together with John Moraynis for eOne, Nick Hamm of Momentum TV and Michael Rosenberg.
