BD's strengths VS. its weaknesses.

hey guys,

thought about having a positive and educative discussions of STRENGTHS/WEAKNESSES OF BD. If BD covered or fixed its problems then it holds its place to the ultimate victory. any thoughts from you guys. What do you think should be done to eliminate further problems? What needs to be covered? and what do you think, the BDA group should do, to combat the HDDVD group?

I would like to add some of the strenghths and weaknesses BD has:

1) The ultimate in Hi Def presentation. (Its includes PQ and UNCOMPRESSED PCM)
2) Higher memory capacity. (means more quality presentation. enough memory to hold enough info to present a crystal clear image and excellent sound.)
3) The possibilities of its capabilities. (profile 1.1, BD-J, and more. more interactivity possibility.)
4) security. (means to fight piracy through BD+ and AACS)
5) A promise to its softwares. (and it includes games. higher memory capacity = more to deliver).

Weaknesses:
1) Its player prices VS. HDDVD.
2) Unfortunately BD 1.1 profile isn't completed yet.
3) Interactivity features aren't finalized yet.
4) finally, the BDA group responses aren't as threatning to HDDVD's group.

the only thing slowing down BD's ultimate victory are its weaknesses.

personal opinion, BD holds the promise to an ultimate entertainment experiance. and it should be the FORMAT TO WIIN.
