Delete Options

is it possible for us to delete our own threads or posts if we mess up instead of relying on you to do it for us?

I don't think you can. You're possibly deleting others post and reducing their post count if you do it. Something that should definitely be reserved for mods.

Who cares, I run around these forums ranting all the time about who knows what, I could care less what people think of me here; except you of course, will you be my friend .

BTW: No I doubt you can delete a thread, and if you did you would just piss off other peope who DO care; you could always try though, or give the mod a good reason and see what happens.
Just dont delete any threads my with my posts, I post like I'm going to win something!

No, you cannot delete the thread. But, if it's only been posted for five minutes, and no replies, you can rename it. I've done this before and just renamed it "Moderator-delete" and *poof* it's gone. :-)
