Should we give them what they want? - Blu-ray Forum

Now there has been begging and pleading all across the net for MGS4 and FF on xbox... Should we give them what they want and let them put them 4 discs and we only have 1?

It would just goes further to show the difference between Blu-ray and dvd storage capacity and maybe help the war along.... Thoughts?

they'll use heavy compression techniques with the sound and it would probably be in 720p before they put an equal version out. the 360 fanboys will say that 5.1 compressed and 720p are optimal for gaming.

Funny how old Bill said that 720 was all you needed and lo' and behold, a few months later they release a patch to upconvert to 1080 and then they release a whole new system with HDMI--also not needed, and a larger hdd which wasn't a worry

NEVER!!! Those two games are the main reason I bought a PS3. I don't want xbox owners to have even a fraction of the joy I will have when those games come out.

um theyed have to like slaughter the game and bring its prossesing wayyyy down so the 360 cpu can handel it

No. But I also think we shouldn't provoke those Xbox devotees that enjoy rumour-mongering about the game already being in development.
