Default HELP: PS3 playback problem

I am having an issue with playback on my PS3. I have it connected to my Harman Kardon AVR-247 and in the past everything worked well, but only now the weird part unfolds.... Everything works fine, I can play video games & DVD's but when I insert a blu-ray it seems like the connection is completely lost until I eject the movie (It says "No Signal on my LG 47LD520). Just to see if the PS3 is defective, I removed the HDMI cable from the A/V unit and placed it on my TV and it worked like nothing ever happened. When I placed it back onto the AVR unit, i tried using the HDMI 2 port and the same thing happened, I even switched for 2 other HDMI cables, still the same effect. I also did the reset where you place the unit in standby then press and hold the "tone mode" for 5 seconds, and still nothing. Any suggestions and help are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
