Default 2nd Samsung plasma gone bad

A few years ago I bought the pn42a450 plasma that started to show pink splotches on the panel against a black backround. The edges of the panel were becoming thinly lined with pink marks as well. The tv was still under warrenty so I had it serviced and Samsung came back and said the tv would be replaced under warranty. To my luck they were out of the 42" version of the model at the time so they sent me a 50" instead. Its been about a year now since I got the new 50" and the same issue is happening. The Tv is no longer under warrenty so I am unfortunately on my own for this one. Just currious how many others have had this problem? Im assuming Im not the only one since I received two faulty sets of different sizes.

Its safe to say I will not be purchasing a Samsung set again in the future
