Overview: Christopher Walken is out of prison and back on the dirty streets of New York as convicted drug lord Frank White in a pitch black 90s crime classic from the magnificently disreputable Abel Ferrara (Driller Killer, Ms.45).

White returns to his old patch to find it in disarray as the parasites that moved in to capture his business don’t share in the same Robin Hood spirit. Soon he’s violently taking out the competition, stealing their stashes and turning a healthy profit on the gear, putting it towards building a new South Bronx hospital.

But you can’t make an omelette without breaking some heads. As the street killings rise and the corrupt cops close in, White’s crazed mix of criminal psychosis and heartfelt charity threatens to tear apart everything he’s fought so hard to build...

At the moment, just from their site (£29.99). However, give it time and I'd have thought that the major retailers will get it.

ill probably pick this one up... i have th u.s. release and its not all that great of a transfer so hopefully this one will be better, and it being region free would be nice as well

That's if you'll keep the discs inside of their original packaging! Some people pay the extra money, and buy steelbooks, to remove the discs from the case and put it in a binder, which doesn't make sense.

I've got the DVD steelbook that came out a while back. I ordered the special edition from Choices to replace the crappy copy I had. Didn't expect them to send the steelbook as it wasn't listed as the steelbook version, but they did

I'm all over this steelbook though. That pre-order price seems a bit high, so would expect that to come down. I don't mind paying up to £17.99

NICE!!!! Been waiting for this movie to come out on Blu-ray for a very long time now. Now, if they could bring New Jack City on Blu as well. I'd be a happy man!
