Default Eminem's Best Album to Date??

On the eve of Eminem's 7th studio album "Recovery" I wanted to see what album people like the most or feel is his best album to date. My vote goes to the "The Marshall Mathers LP" truly one of the greatest rap albums of all time and one of the biggest rap albums of all time as well. Got Em!!

Marshall Mathers LP without a doubt. I was a huge Eminem fan for his first 5 albums (plus the 8 Mile soundtrack) and Marshall Mathers LP is probably my favorite rap album of all time. Stan is a classic, the video was great and his performance of it with Elton John at the Grammys was amazing.

Eminem Show feels a bit formulaic to me, but it's pretty much an instant classic.

I voted Slim Shady LP.

Slim Shady LP, Marshal Mathers LP, and Eminem Show are all 5/5's in my book though.

Canada And if it's not a rapper that I make it as...

Marshall Mathers LP
The Eminem Show
Slim Shady LP
Relapse
Encore

I've never listened to Infinite start to finish.

Side note, his latest freestyle "Despicable" is worth checking out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XB7uQyPO8_Q

Marshall Mathers LP is by far his best album. Eminem Show was great too. Really looking forward to the Recovery album, "I'm Not Afraid" single is already a hit.

Crush! not to mention almost every song on there had something that was a wow factor that made it great, most artists you're lucky to get 1-2 good songs.

Em sounds like AZ on Infinite, but that's not a bad thing at all. "Infinite" and "It's OK" are sick. No cursing!

The Eminem Show. In my opinion this is the album where Eminem truly showed his skills. The Marshall Mathers LP was great, one of my favorite albums, but it relied too much on the shock value to carry it, while with The Eminem Show he toned all that down and relied much more on his lyrics and rhymes. It's a much more serious album as well and the aggression and anger were transfered perfectly. From start to finish this album is great. Besides, it also contains my all time favorite Eminem song, "Till I Collapse." Great wordplay, lyrics and delivery.

The Eminem Show
Marshall Mathers LP - I loveee 'Kim'
Slim Shady LP
Relapse
Encore

Honestly it's really hard for me to choose between TES and MMLP.

Even though a lot of people didn't like the last two albums too much, they're still really great albums. He started in with the accents and people didn't like that, I honestly didn't and don't care at all. But I've always prefered just his regular voice on his newer songs. Like he did on No Apologies, My Darling, Not Afraid. And now he's gonna drop the accents. I have a feeling I'll like Recovery more than Relapse.

I like all of his albums but Marshall Mathers LP ftw. So many great tracks. 2nd favorite album is a tough one though. I loved the Slim Shady LP but his new album Recovery is pretty sick so it gets my 2nd place stamp of approval.

Just listened to Infinite for the first time (start to finish, anyways), not bad at all. Different, but not bad.
