C7000 or c8000 - Blu-ray Forum

I just picked up the 50c7000 Samsung and I am absolutely blown away by the picture quality compared to the entry level plasma. I am wondering if I should take it back for the 8000 for around 400$ more. Would there really be much different between the two?

If you feel that the $400 is worth the different color (brushed metal) bezel and the "real black filter". Other wise, they are essentially the same. You can even go into the service menu and change the 7000 to an 8000.

The C7000 does not handle 1080p/24 properly while the C8000 does.
