Default Supernatural Seasons?

Will there be any BD-release of Supernatural season 1 and 2 in the future?
Or are they already planing?

No plans as yet. Gimme these, be it singular release or in a complete series set, and Smallville's missing seasons the same.

Jeff Kleist said tv shows are not doing well on blu ray. New ones like Damages have been cancelled so I'd imagine catalog titles are doing worse. It's a shame because I would love to see more TV on blu ray.

Give it time. Remember for about the first 5 years of DVD all we had was really expensive XFiles, Buffy sets... By comrarison to what I paid for those early on the Blu Ray sets are utter bargains.

i think another factor is most people already have the first couple of seasons on dvd already so they won't want to double dip right away atleast plus i think it costs a bundle to release tv shows on blu ray.

i don't think the price is that bad as mobe pointed out blu rays cost about $40 here and you can get a few complete seasons for $60 so i don't think the prices are to bad.

Prices are great! Well impressed. I do think that if they're ever going to double dip, it will be in complete series sets... very much like BSG.

Only time will tell though...

You see... I want to buy supernatural but I don't want to until Season 1 & 2 have been released... Cause studios have a tendency to change their minds on packaging and I like my TV shows to look all neat on the shelf

The prices are okay, yes. But I would seriously consider selling my old DVD shows and buy them on blu-ray (if it was possible), no doubt.

The best we can do is keep buying current TV on Blu ray and hopefully sales will improve.

the first 2 seasons on DVD look really good upconverted, it's really not a bad purchase if you want to catch up with the show.
