Default 8 Films To Die For Double Packs Announced 1/4/11

Good news: The 8 Films to Die For (Some of them) are being released on Blu-Ray.

Note: Some of those movies are absolutely awful, others are decent and I would enjoy adding to my collection.

Bad news: They're double packs...and they're paired off very poorly.

Here's how they're paired:

The Graves - Zombies of Mass Destruction

The Gravedancers - Wicked Little Things

Borderland - Crazy Eights

The Broken - The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations

Why would they do this? Why not release them individually?

Well anyways, they're being priced at $19.99 per double pack. The street date appears to be January 4th, 2011.

Out of those, I want The Gravedancers, Wicked Little Things, Borderland, and The Butterfly Effect 3: Revelations. Only one I approve of with the pairing is The Gravedancers with Wicked Little Things.

Here's the link:

loved GRAVEDANCERS-- I'm in for that one for sure (don't think I've ever seen the movie paired with it....)

Never saw any of these, but Zombies of Mass Destruction sounds fun.

Blu-Ray.com just reviewed the import Zombies of Mass Destruction a couple days ago and I was tempted to import it.. nice to see it coming out here!

At $19.99 MSRP, these should only be about $14 on amazon (30% off) which isn't bad. Theres also a chance of them upping their usual percentage on these. I'll pick up a few of them assuming they're upgrades over the DVDs

I liked both Gravedancers and Wicked Little Things, so that ones a no brainer. Crazy Eights was also pretty good and Borderlands sounds interesting. Wonder if these will be sold anywhere as a "package deal"? Are these two disc sets, I didn't catch that mentioned?

Zombies of Mass Destruction was absolutely TERRIBLE.

I'm gay and love gay jokes, so I'm not offended by any of that. I found the two gay main characters to be some of the most annoying and irritating characters I've ever seen in a movie. It gets boring and it just rips off of every zombie movie you can think of. It's just...terrible... I say avoid at all costs.

The Graves is very mediocre. Has its moments where it's okay, but otherwise it's pretty bad.

The Gravedancers and Wicked Little Things were both pretty good.

Borderland is also pretty decent, but Crazy Eights is slow and disappointing.

The Broken is boring as hell. Butterfly Effect 3 I haven't seen since it was released, but I recall still enjoying it. Is all I know is that I remember liking it more than Butterfly Effect 2.

I'm going to import these from other countries as they are released individually. I don't mind sequels being in double packs, but I hate it when movies have nothing to do with each other and are put in a double pack like this.

Glad that they are FINALLY releasing them. I wish The Abandoned was included though.

Unearthed isn't worth your time anyways. I didn't like it much at all. I got it for $5 on DVD a long time back, watched it once, and it just piled dust on my shelf.
