Default Log-In question - BB software issue?

When I go to most message board sites a cookie in my browser (Firefox on WinXP Pro) automatically logs me in. Here I have to log in each time, and it seems as though there is a time out or something as well. Is this an incompatibility with Firefox, or intentional. It makes it seem less "friendly" .

Any upgrades coming to the forum software, or has this been reported before?

When you log in, don't you get a tick box to select Remember me ?

Yes. And I check the box every time. But it still doesn't do an auto log-in like AVS, HTF, Yahoo homepage, Google news homepage, etc. I still have to manually click 'log-in' each time, just don't have to re-type info. And if I leave the site, have to do it again when I come back. Sometimes it's even caused by going back too far by mistake in the browser. Minor annoyance, really, but just wondered if it was working for anyone/everyone else?

Hey, nevermind. I logged in, then saved a new bookmark and looks like it's working now. Carry On

Well it turns out that the log-in times out. When I posted the last message, I could leave and come back and be auto-logged in. But after what seemed to be a fairly short time I'd have to re-log in.
