Default home theatre sytems?

i currently have a bose lifestyle 28 system that ive had for a few months but am trying to get rid of it because it is unable to produce uncompressed audio. i had a couple questions. one is what do you guys suggest for surround sound systems with hdmi? and is anyone intrested in the bose.....there is no askign price just best offer.

It really depends how much you want to spend. I have a Yamaha RX-V661, Klipsch Quintet III Surrounds, and a Velodyne sub that I spent about $1200 on.

There's an Onkyo out there, something something 605 that's pretty popular 'round here. Search for Onkyo, there's a million threads about it. If you want to stay with something like the Lifestyle, the Klipsch Quintet as mentioned above is very good for its size and cost. Just add a sub and a decent receiver (Onkyo, Yamaha, although most people recommend against pairing a Yamaha receiver with Klipsch speakers . . . tends to be a little harsh, Pioneer/Elite, etc.) and you'll be good to go.
