I know many releases are region free but that doesn't stop studios from dropping special features/discs when releasing the same title and of course some movies are released by different studios in different countries.
I'm currently in the UK and since this site is predominantly in English it would make sense to have additional reviewers for releases that may/could differ the other side of the Atlantic. I posted this after noticing the discrepancy in Zodiac where the UK loses one disc and also 8 minutes but calls itself the Director's Cut and how it seems impossible to fit the same amount of features into 1 disc. I also recall that the Pirates franchise also seems to differ and of course there could be many more since there is no real proper site for reviews here with many supposedly UK based sites reviewing US based Blu-Rays. |
