Default John Carpenter's The Darkchylde

John Carpenter has signed on to direct the comic book movie Darkchylde. Sounds like a cool movie and can't wait to see it.

based on the comic by Randy Queen about a good hearted southern teen cursed to become the creatures from her many recurring nightmares. Every time Ariel Chylde transforms, she sheds her skin and a new nightmare emerges from her Id to act out her deepest, darkest impulses.

Interesting. I'm always up for some more John Carpenter. It's good to see him getting back in the saddle again so quickly after a long lay off prior to the Ward.
Anyone ever read the comic and have any thoughts on the source material?

It sounds like an interesting premise. I'm interested just because John Carpenter is involved.
