France L'Auberge Espagnole (Romain Duris) -with English subtitles

Cover:

Real gem of a film this only confirmed by the truly awful follow-up.

The image is a massive upgrade to the poor UK and USA DVDs (although they were very nice at the time obviously). Really is a beautiful image to behold. English subtitles on the main feature and the rest of the stuf doesn't need them really and there's a short film which has nothing to do with the film. Looks like a port of the old DVD.

Screengrab:

Looks far better than that really, I reckon these image hosting sites fiddle with images quite a bit especially at certain times of the day (the 'attachment' offering on this forum is so redundant (97.7 KB? ) it should be removed). The JPG ends up looking better than the PNG and that's not right. Anyway, it gives you an impression of what's there like all screengrabs do. Oddly, Firefox makes that image look much worse too. Look at it with IE.

Region B locked as far as I can test. I just get a black screen on an A player. I've had this before with a few France-release titles.
