Sadly this movie is not exciting...
I like John Woo's 'The Killer' very much.

I realllly liked this movie! Been hoping it would see a Blu release. Sadly, I think I'll be in the minority.
Hopefully, being Paramount, it'll be region free.

Poor John Woo, hasn't made a good flick since the 90's.

I really like this movie, although that's probably more for John Powell's superb score than it is for the movie itself.

It's an OK movie. Woo hasn't made a good US film since the '90s (Face/Off), thankfully now he has gone back home and cranked out Red Cliff.

Now I am waiting for a John Woo pack of his excellent HK films.

The Killer
Hard Boiled
A Better Tomorrow I, II
Bullet in the Head

Yeah this movie was decent. Not worth a blu ray purchase though.

Give me Better Tomorrow on blu!

I'd have loved Hard Target instead. this movie pretty much canned John Woo's career in Hollywood.

Mr. Woo needs to go back to his Hong Kong roots, those movies he made w/ Chow Yun Fat were the bomb!

Paycheck is ok and looks amazing on blu ray but I would rather have Hard Target

I have to admit that I really enjoy this movie. It's obviously not the most well done sci-fi movie ever, but I like the action, the characters and the premise is intriguing. For me, it's one of those guilty pleasure movies that will definitely have a place on the shelf. I'm just glad that the Blu-ray release is of significantly improved quality over the DVD, otherwise, I would have skipped it.

Finally, I've been waiting for the price of this movie to drop. $25 was just a tad too pricey for me to purchase this film but in two short weeks, the first week in January, this film finally gets released again at $9.99. While not the best film, I still enjoyed this movie very much.

I respectfully disagree. When faced with the choice of losing either the character development or the action, I for one am glad to have a version that forfeits neither.

Haven't seen the film, but John Powell's score is magnificent.
