I wonder how the art on the SteelBook/metalpack/whatever will compare.

Don't think the artwork is official, since Disney hasn't put the DMR logo on the front for quite a while, plus the shoddy editing on small details like this:

Though I must admit, the mock-up does look nice.

That aside, I'm seeing this tomorrow since it hits theaters here tomorrow, will be good to see Mike & Sully on the big screen again after 11 years

I can't believe it's been that long since the original one came out. I remember seeing the first one in theaters and I was only around 8 years old when it came out in 2001

People like the artwork? It looks horrible with all that white space. And it isn't real anyways.

Don't care for the artwork at all. But that point is moot to me because the only artwork I care about is what the Zavvi Steelbook will have.

I was thinking the same thing. Too early for an artwork.

I was just watching Monsters Inc with my little boy yesterday...he loved it(first viewing too).
I think I was watching him more than the movie. Seeing the big smile on his face, and hearing him laugh is about as priceless as it gets!(Thank you Walt!)
Can't wait to add this to the colletion!

If you're referring to the ones that BB had as pre-sell cases, then there won't be one. They stopped making those.

Just watched this today, very pleasantly surprised. Monsters, Inc. is one of my least favorite Pixar films, so I didn't have very high expectations for Monsters University, but it made it to the upper half of my list. Looking forward to picking it up on Blu!

Loved this. obviously not as good as the first, but still a worthy prequel. Horrible cover though

+1. The cover is sexy. Period. I especially like the fact that it's white, and you don't ever see a Disney blu-ray like that, plus the little Monsters Inc. "M" logo all around the border. Just a fantastic touch.

I enjoy Monsters Inc, but I generally think its overrated. I didn't think MU was too far behind in quality. It was funny and engaging. The animation was phenomenal, especially in the human world by the lake.

I understand why Boo was not included obviously, but it was a horrible, horrible mistake. In almost every animated film there is a "side kick" that always takes over the film.

Think about the Shrek series - Puss In Boots became a massive character and then got a spin off

Despicable Me - the minions are the selling point for the 2nd film and now have their own spin off.

and these are just a few of the countless examples

No Boo really hurt the film

I feel the complete opposite. I think Boo is a large part of the reason I don't enjoy Monsters, Inc., her absence in Monsters University was very welcome and I loved it!
