Default Blu's you won't watch anymore?

So, I popped in The Italian Job (Walberg) and had to take it out and never watch it again.

Why?

It was one of my first Blu's and even though it turned out to be of super crappy PQ, I thought I might enjoy the movie. NO WAY!!

Until they re-release a better version of this I will not watch Italian Job Blu again!

Do you have any retired Blu rays?

There are probably some movies that I won't watch as much as others but any in my collection I usually re-watch.

Italian Job made it to the garbage last night. I would not feel right even giving that piece of crap away

Some of them for sure.

Like Fantastic four 2, Indipendence Day, The Goldenn Compass, and the League of Extraordinary Gentlmen.

All others I will watch many more times.

Few movies I own would ever get the "I never want to see this again" label, but in looking at my collection, here is a shortlist:

Close Encounters of the Third Kind
-Bought it because it was cheap. Hadn't seen it before. Found it too long and at times confusing. Would I ever see it again? Perhaps. It isn't like I outright hated it... I just can't see myself ever picking it up over most of the other movies in my collection.

The Dark Knight
Another cheap purchase, though this is actually a movie I loved in the theaters. Something about it on repeat viewings has left me bored and slightly nauseus. I can't image it has any resale value (heck, FYE/Suncoast is practically GIVING them away), so I'll hang on to it for collector's sake.

Ratatouille
I love Pixar, but this is my least favorite Pixar film. I own it because I got it used, and I'll keep it, but I can't see myself watching this on my own at any point.

Mortuary
This is a cop-out since it is one of those packs that has two blu-ray titles in one. The other title (Salvage) is fantastic, but this one was rather horrible. Never watch again, but kept around for Salvage.

Any of these COULD be watched again if I'm with a friend who wants to pop 'em in. But for my normal viewing habits, they're basically shelved for the duration.

I have watched the first three numerous times.

Although I LOVE the movie, I can't bring myself to watch Public Enemies again, after the way Michael Mann did the audio I was VERY unimpressed and was let down. I didn't like it at all. Oh, and I will CERTAINLY retire my old copy of Gangs Of New York since I bought the remaster...

Edit: Oh yeah, all the Blu's that are technically my wife's, the Twilight Films, can't see myself watching those again...

The Godfather Trilogy

I say this with respect because I've seen the film inside out several times and I am incredibly familiar with all three films. There's nothing left for me to watch the film but I'll still keep it. I think it's a title that belongs in every collection.

I know there are others and District 9 is the only one I cannot get rid of. None of my friends will trade for it and I won't sell it for $5 at a trade-in store.

Should this thread be retitled as, "Blu's you won't watch anymore but you still don't want to trade/sell them?"

I'll gladly unload District 9 for the right blu ray. I own most of the ones available that I would like to own currently, so it's hard to tempt me.

There's none in my collection that I won't watch anymore......not yet at least. Why? Because I recently bought my first home theater system and fell in love with it plus I'm still curious on how each movie sounds in 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD. I wish I had a 7.1 system but that'll come soon.
