The Film Detective will be releasing the Sci-Fi film Battle of the Worlds (1961) on Blu-ray on August 9th. Among its extras will be a newly recorded commentary track, and a new featurette from Ballyhoo Motion Pictures. The transfer will be sourced from a 4K Scan of a 35mm print.

Cinematography by Marcello Masciocchi. Best watched late at night.
