Most already were but not in boxset form. The one I am really looking for from the boxset that was not released was Dr. Strangelove, which is kind of funny because there have been several Standard DVD releases of it...

The German box set is very beautiful and exclusive to Amazon. They will play just fine on your American player and there is an English audio track (like all German releases).

The Dr. Strangelove DVD is a Columbia Tri-Star release. Lolita and Barry Lyndon are the only two remaining WHV releases that are not available.

I believe Spartacus was released on HD-DVD.

You can buy dvds from amazon by mailing in a money order you have the option when you check out it just takes a little longer to get them than it would with a credit card

The majority of people in 2008 are not interested in classic movies. In addition, studios are not eager to release B&W movies in Blu Ray. Furthermore, most of Kubrick's movies were released by Warner. However, Dr. Strangelove was released by Columbia (Sony), Spartacus was released by Universal, and Paths of Glory was released by United Artists (MGM, Sony has some control over MGM).

Recent Warner releases have inserts that list a "Stanley Kubrick Collection" as coming soon. But I've not heard any press statements to that effect. I may end up getting the individuals.

The remastered 5-movie Stanley Kubrick Collection on high-def exists... as a set of individual titles from Warner. There is no bundled high-def set and no plans to do it currently.

Well, I'm only a couple years old than you. You don't have to have a credit card. I have a debit card that I got when I was seventeen. It works like a credit card but you have to have money in the account. I recomend you to look into that.

The Stanley Kubrick box collection is gorgeous. The covers are great as well:

You can use your American or British Amazon account there. It works the same. They will ship films to the US. The price will also be quite a bit cheaper because you won't get charged the tax.
