Default Make my 46" XBR3 60Hz into 120Hz?

Can it be done. Do you think Sony would do it? How much would it cost? Should be as easy as switching out one of the electronics inside, right?

Why do you need to update your processor. Don't your HDdvds look good enough?

haha. Looking to get rid of the stutter when it pans from side to side in ANY situation. No, not just HD DVDs. My Blu-rays and DVD's too.

Thank you for seeing the humor there. From what I understand you have to change your processor out completely. That is something that Sony would have to provide for you. If they sell it seperately at all. Good luck trying to locate one.

Well I'm more or less wondering if they chip thats in the new XBR4 & XBR5 would work in mine without any type of soldering or anything. If its as simple as plug and play it would be nice. Could tell Sony that I have the XBR4 and have them send me the chip, or have a repair man install, I don't care. Just wondering if anybody thought it was feasible.
