I heard (as well as saw the reviews here on bluray.com) that the French transfer is quite a bit better than the US version. It also has lossless audio. Can anyone confirm the enhancement in picture quality? Is it a big difference to justify importing to the US?
I didn't think the American transfer was awful but bluray.com gave the French version a much higher score. Anyone know where to get screenshot comparisons or any definite word on how much better it is?? Thanks! PRE ORDER ![]() Last edited by pro-bassoonist; 02-22-2011 at 04:30 AM. |

There are currently 2 versions listed on Amazon, does anyone know what the difference is (aside from the price)?

first one is the french version (repackaged for warner "blu-line" promotion offer)
second one is an import from Belgium. |

If you have to choose, take the Warner Blu Line one.
It is now under the Warner collection (Blu Line being their "Budget" collection, with movie at less expensive prices) because M6 Video, who first distributed it, distributed it under the license of Warner, in some kind of deal. It is the same in France for the Twilight movies, for exemple. |

Anyone knows how the French disc compares to the UK?
Review here said the French PQ is superior to the US but it lacks English subtitle. I'm wondering how the UK stacks up to the French since that version does have English subtitle option. Thanks... |
