The Drowning Pool
Default Why cant i resize the text on this site?

Im not sure why but for some reason with both Firefox 2 and IE7 i cant resize the text to make it slightly bigger for Blu ray.com. You can zoom the text which makes it too big but you cant just up the size as i can with other forums.
The setting i choose makes other forums text resize but here it just stays at the standard size.

i tried maxing the setting and blu ray .com text stays the same, but other sites text goes huge.

Any reason why this control dosent work here. Please dont confuse with zoom.

(with firefox 2 you cant set the font size under the Tools>options>content setting and this will resize the text with out zooming, with IE7 going to PAGE>text size does the a similair thing but they have no effect on BD.com, work on AVS, AVF etc).

Any hints

I think it's because they used a CSS (Cascading Style Sheet), that specifically states to use 10pt font. It overrides anything you tell it to do.

Ahh ok thanks for that.

See on IE7 its about the right size for me and i enable cleartype.

Now with firefox 2 the fonts are much smaller coming from IE7 and it just makes it a tad hard to read, i did find a work around, in firefox you can enable font size limit and by setting that it forces BD.com to display at your selected font size, down side it screws up every other site.

seems to be an issue with firefox and font size rendering. No such problems with IE7 but i prefer firefox in truth but the text sizing issues makes it unsuable for me as it varies to much from site to site.
